Our grappa is aged for almost a year in oak barrels previously used for storing red wine. Thanks to this particular processing, unique of its kind, our grappa can obtain a distinctive organoleptic profile not only regarding the taste, but also visually, getting a rose-colored appearance.
Other Azienda Agricola Bianchi’s products
The farm named Azienda agricola Bianchi was founded in Arogno in 1998 by Marcy and Alberto Bianchi.
Since the beginning they followed the idea of working as close to nature as possible. All raw materials are processed according to Bio-Suisse standards to guarantee that quality requirements for labelled products such as wine, honey and by-products are met.
Johanniter, Bronner and Solaris are the grape varieties cultivated to obtain white wines, whereas red wine and sparkling rosé are produced using new varieties of Cabernet Sauvignon. Since 2012 the farm also cultivates Merlot, Syrah and Chardonnay for winemaking in compliance with organic production rules. The family farm can count on the two sons, Martino (winemaker) and Gabriele (oenologist), who help to carry on their parents’ activity and legacy. The new wine cave, built in 2017, is conceived to take advantage of the technique of gravity flow winemaking.
