Lucerne mountain Cheese
In the heart of the canton of Lucerne, in the foothills of the alps, Lucerne mountain cheese is produced according to a recipe handed down through several generations, following an ancient tradition. In the Kleinstein area, which is rich in natural landscapes, the cows of their nine milk suppliers graze on lush meadows with the best pastures. As a result, they produce a unique, tasty milk. This is delivered daily to the Kleinstein cheese dairy and immediately processed into cheese. During the ripening period, the loaves are turned 3-5 times a week and rubbed with a herbal brine. The carefully selected raw material, coupled with the best craftsmanship, results in a unique, mildly spicy and fruity aroma, which makes the Lucerne mountain cheese unmistakable.
